Central Outreach Hub is a peer-led space in downtown Calgary where people come in to be warm, eat, rest, and talk with peers who have been through the same systems. You can walk in during operating hours without an appointment or a referral.

The space is open through the week. We are not publishing a fixed Monday-to-Friday grid right now because the hours are still shifting as the room grows, and we would rather be honest than promise something we cannot always hold.
The most reliable way to know if we are open is to give the phone a call before you head out. Community meals happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Good Neighbor provides meals here on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are planning a visit around a meal, those are the days to come.
The 7th Avenue free fare zone for C-Train runs right past the front door, so most downtown stops are a short walk. The closest stops are 4 Street SW and 1 Street SW. From either of those, walk along 7th Avenue and you will find the entrance at 131.
If you are coming on foot from another part of downtown, the building sits between 1 Street SW and Centre Street, on the south side of 7th Avenue. There are no stairs at the entrance.
When you walk in, a peer will say hello and ask if there is anything they can help you with. You can take any open seat in the room. Coffee is usually on, and the kitchen serves something on community meal days. If you would like to talk through what you are working on, someone is there to listen. If you would rather just sit in a warm room without anyone bothering you, that works too.
There is usually no need to bring an ID, make an appointment, or explain why you came in.
If you are bringing someone in from outreach, the same applies. You do not need to call ahead or send a referral form. Walk in together and a peer will take it from there. If you would like to give us a heads up so the room can be ready, the phone number is below.
